http://www.gog.com/ (OK...this isn't FREE...but 6 bucks for a game on Linux is better than $85 on Win)
Disclaimer: I have two flavors I prefer for "windows" stuff.....LinuxMint for my Dell Laptop and LXLE (Screaming fast on old platforms) on my older ('06) laptop and on my cheap netbook that I use on public wifi's.
AND
Disclaimer2: I don't use MS Office on the Windows Laptop I still have, it's Openoffice (Sorry Bill...no money for you to spend on stuff I don't agree with)
UPDATE:
I've made some changes.....moved to Libreoffice instead of OO (better updates/support for the same product), and moved from LinuxMint to ZorinOS (at least for now)...nice interface.
